Present Your Research

If you are looking for opportunities to showcase your work, check out the following events.

  • The annual UURAF conference (University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum) is MSU’s premiere event to showcase the research, scholarship, and creative activity of its undergraduate students. At the Forum, students are provided an opportunity to present their work in the form of a poster or oral presentation, or to showcase their creations. Undergraduates from all MSU colleges who are engaged in original work are encouraged to participate. Presentation at the MSU Forum does not preclude students from presenting at other appropriate venues. Any undergraduate student who is currently enrolled can participate!

  • National Conferences on Undergraduate Research is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study by sponsoring an annual conference for students. This gathering of young scholars welcomes presenters from all institutions of higher learning and from all corners of the academic curriculum. Through this annual conference, NCUR creates a unique environment for the celebration and promotion of undergraduate student achievement, provides models of exemplary research and scholarship, and helps to improve the state of undergraduate education.

  • Posters on the Hill is an annual national competition for undergraduate researchers. It is comprised of 60 competitively selected student poster are displayed on the U.S. Capitol during a late afternoon reception and visit with members of Congress and different federal funding agencies. CUR is calling for students to submit an abstract of their research that represents any of CUR's divisions (Biology, Chemistry, Geosciences, Humanities, Mathematics/Computer Science, Physics/Astronomy, Psychology, and Social Sciences). Each abstract should explain the work that was performed and discuss the importance of the work to science and society.

  • The Michigan Undergraduate Research Forum is an undergraduate research conference involving Wayne State University, Michigan State University, and the University of Michigan campuses. Up to ten students per campus present their research before legislators at the State Capitol Building. Presentations consist of oral and poster presentations. MURF is an opportunity for undergraduate researchers and their faculty advisors to show the state of Michigan the important work that is being done at these colleges.
